Katherine "Katie" McNamara" is an American actress, singer-songwriter and dancer best known for the lead role as Clary Fray on the FreeForm series, Shadow Hunters. Her other roles include the Maze Runner movie franchise, R.L. Stine's Monsterville: The Cabinet of Souls, Girl vs Monster, Jessie among others. On the Thundermans, Katherine portrays Tara Campbell, who is Cole Campbell's older, bad-girl sister.

Katherine began her career at age 13 when she starred in the broadway series, A Little Night Music. This led to several other broadway stage roles and eventually into television and film.
She is an avid student, dedicated to education. She graduated from high school at the age of 14 and at age 17 graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in business from Drexel University's Le Bow School of Business.
